You do. Have to eat. If you want to keep on going. But recipes, to me, are a jumping off point. They are inspiration. Not to be taken too literally, or earnestly. I love recipes though, ever since I picked up a copy of the Enchanted Broccoli Forest, when I was in middle school, they are addictive. For me to write a recipe is strange, very weird, because I don’t measure when I cook. I almost don’t take full inventory, because it’s intuitive and fluid. But this was so so so good, I had to write it down. And though I don’t think I’ll ever copy it exactly again, it will spark other ideas.

In other news, our friends made a video, actually lots of videos, but we’re in this one.

    My favorite unit of measure is “the right amount”. I made basically the same thing last week, but with quinoa and parmesian cheese. All hail spring!
