Wellington is a good place to walk. The area is capillaried with pedestrian paths that crisscross an extensive town belt. Some of the trails are quite steep, especially when you walk the same steps into town twice in one day, as we did yesterday. It was worth it, because at the bottom of the hill are weekend farmers markets, and a pretty glorious city in the drizzle. My most difficult task of the day was attempting to mentally convert kilograms to pounds, and deciding it was too much effort for a Sunday We were especially excited to happen upon very good tomatillo salsa, which brought my taste buds right on back to Colorado.
