I think my body is very much confused after being torpedoed across the world and into another hemisphere, and is rebelling in the form of a spring cold. It has kept me cooped up for days, but I managed a walk to the Wellington Botanic Gardens, which was well worth the effort. Entrance is free! So we will be back repeatedly this winter summer.
Here is the view from our current accommodations. It inspires contemplation, and elation.
The blooms were just commencing blooming, and I imagine they have quite a show to come. There were really great sculptures to explore, including an irresistible sonic tube, a D (for Dewey, of course), and a sundial requiring a person in order to function. Genius.
