Being far from loved ones can be a bit hard on the heart at times, but there are small condolences. One of the best is receiving (and sending) thoughtful snail mail, especially on rainy days. My sweet mom has sent a few packages already, all of which I’ve torn into with abandon and nearly jumped for joy.
Today we got this awesome surprise in the mailbox, and I remembered to take a photo before tearing into it. I used to have a button that said “to get a letter write a letter.” So true, and I owe you one. Long live paper mail. Thank you friends.
